Not Quite as Planned

We had a very early start to our day. The plan was to get up early, make sandwiches for the car ride and load the car and all the people and drive a few hours to Hervey Bay and go on a whale watch tour. Guess what the weather was like. No really, guess.

We drove just over half way when we got the call saying they were cancelling the tour and then they rescheduled for Monday which worked for our traveling plans. We pulled over within 5 minutes and had lunch. We even let Lilly have a play on the playground and ate ice cream. We weren’t in a rush!

We got to our cabin and it was in a cute location. The owners even gave us a bag of food to feed to the ducks.

We wanted to take a stroll and see if we could find some food. So we started walking. We went down by the beach and walked along the water.

We walked for a long time and realized we had not seen any food establishments. Or anything besides houses for that matter. We ended up walked for a couple of hours and finally found a chicken food place. We got a chicken and a bunch of sides for everyone. And walked back to the cabin.

We ate and went to bed. That's some exciting stuff!
