Today Lilly and I braved the chilly/windy day and headed to a park called Fitzroy Gardens. They had a Fairy Festival! It wasn't really a festival but they did have some fairies. Three of these things put on a little 45 minute program with a little acting, minimal singing and some acrobatic stunts. It was amusing and most importantly, Lilly enjoyed herself. 
Me: Was this a good surprise?Lilly: It was ok.
Me: Oh, I thought it would be a really good surprise.
Lilly: It would have been better if the one fairy didn't scare me when he fell asleep.
Apparently sleeping characters don't rank very well on Lilly's list of well liked characters. Note taken.

Such honesty. I love it! Sleeping Beauty & Snow White are off the list, I guess, huh.
Ok...from the picture I have derived a couple of questions. What is the significance of a ladder propped up against some bushes, a bright orange extension cord, and a generator? I suppose "new" fairies need help flying but the generator?!
